Ryan gets the last laugh at Boom-Tish talent event, sponsored by E-Lites
The monthly event, sponsored by leading electronic cigarette company, E-Lites aims to raise money and awareness for local charities by offering the audience a diverse blend of comedy and variety at the Music Palace in Crouch End, London.
Canadian-born Katherine took to the stage during the night to help promote her chosen charity The Angelus Foundation, which exists to help save lives by informing young people about the dangers of ‘legal highs’.
Katherine, who has previously won the Nivea Funny Women Awards, as well as appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Victoria Pile's Channel 4 series Campus as well as the second series of Episode, has just returned from her stint at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
This month’s event also saw Edward Hilsum; a rising star in the world of magic, conjure up his place in the BoomTish! grand final in December. Edward will now join a host of other top talent, as voted for by the Boom-Tish! audience, to compete for a generous cash prize courtesy of main sponsor, E-Lites.
Boom-Tish is a new brand of comedy and variety night, based at the Music Palace in Crouch End, London, but expanding to a number of new venues in 2012. For more information, go to www.boomtish.co.uk.
