It was a good week for our E-Lites sports partners this week as our sponsored football teams moved closer to winning or being promoted from their leagues

One manlgoo1 stole the show at Celtic as they ran out 2-0 winners against Hearts at Tynecastle. Goalkeeper Fraser Forster broke the Scottish clean sheet record after not conceding a league goal for the 13th consecutive game, beating a 43-year-old record. The last team to score a league goal against Celtic were Aberdeen, back on November 23. Celtic are a cut above the rest at the moment, scoring in every game and undefeated so far, holding a 24-point lead over second place. Goals for Leigh Griffiths and Teemu Pukki settled this one.

Rangerlgoo2s’ quest to get back to the top flight is firmly on track – also undefeated and with a 21-point lead in their league, it looks a racing certainty that they’re on their way up to the second tier. However, this week did not quite go to plan as their 9-game winning streak came to an end with an exciting 3-3 draw against Stenhousemuir. Nicky Law and Jon Daly’s strikes either side of a Ross McMillan own goal secured a point for Rangers.

Derby Clgoo3ounty’s push for promotion to the Barclays Premier League continued with a win against Bournemouth, but they left it late to secure a 1-0 win. Chris Martin won all three points in the 85th minute to increase the pressure on Burnley, who are just two points ahead and in the automatic promotion places. With a third of the season to go, Derby are looking good for at least a play-off finish but will have their eyes set on the top two.

Nottingham Forest Ladies don’t play a league game until next weekend, where tlgoo4hey take on fourth-placed Preston North End. They warmed up for the game with a friendly match against twelve-times champions Arsenal Ladies and put in a brave performance to get back to fitness. Sitting pretty in second place in the league, Forest Ladies are looking to close the gap on league leaders Sheffield, and they have a game in hand. They’re going to be fighting for the title all the way to the end!

We’re backing our teams to come away with four championships. When you believe you can, you can achieve anything!
