Having been a big hit at Top Gear Live in Birmingham earlier this month, E-Lites will be back in action at the London show from this Thursday (24th to 27th November).
The UK’s leading electronic cigarette manufacturer will once again bring together a 37ft powerboat, an F1 simulator and the smartest electronic cigarettes on the market, proving to smokers that you can still enjoy a nicotine fix without seriously damaging your health.
E-lites already have a growing army of celebrity fans – not least among the Top Gear team itself – and the latest smoke-free devices will be showcased in front of thousands of petrolheads at the ultimate motoring event this weekend.
From Thursday to Sunday at Excel London, motor enthusiasts will be invited to get behind the wheel of a full-size F1 car with a built-in driving simulator, courtesy of F1driver.com, and can also enter a prize draw to win a spin in the E-Lites powerboat, which is set to compete in the RB12 Round Britain race next year.
E-Lites are a healthier and less expensive alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes, as well as being unrestricted for use in public places.
Being free of tar and tobacco, E-Lites allow smokers to avoid the most harmful carcinogenic components of cigarettes, while still providing the familiar buzz of nicotine and the flavour of tobacco, thanks to micro-technology that converts a pharmaceutical-grade solution into a vapour that can be inhaled.
E-Lites co-director Adrian Everett said: “There’s a historic link between motorsport and cigarettes that has almost been extinguished by the clampdown on tobacco advertising. We are very happy to be involved in re-establishing that link in a way that’s fitting for the 21st century. Just as car technology has evolved, so has smoking technology, which means smokers can now enjoy a smarter option. The nicotine buzz is still there, but we’ve excluded the most harmful elements, so it makes more sense from a health perspective.”
